Slim Aluminium Folding Doors — Private Villa, The Villa Dubai

Project Overview

At a private villa in the Centro cluster of The Villa, Dubai, Gray Shades Project Management set Makfold one clear goal: dissolve the line between the living spaces and the garden. We delivered it with two slim-profile aluminium folding door systems finished in matte black. A seven-leaf run (7+0) now wraps the poolside entertaining room — seven glazed panels that fold and stack completely to one side, opening the entire wall onto the pool terrace so the indoor lounge and the water read as one space. On the courtyard side, a three-leaf system (3+0) folds away to connect the room with a shaded garden and its mature frangipani tree. Both systems use ultra-slim thermal-break aluminium sightlines and floor-to-ceiling toughened glass, engineered for Dubai's heat and poolside humidity, and run on smooth, load-rated hardware built for everyday family use. Every profile was fabricated in Makfold's own facility in Al Bataeh, Sharjah, and installed by our own team — turning a conventional villa into an indoor-outdoor home where the walls open to the pool and garden on demand.
