Size and panel count
The biggest driver. Bi-folds are priced per panel, sliding systems per square metre.
Height
Openings above 3 m need a heavy-duty system. On bi-folds that adds 40–60% per panel; sliding systems move to a higher per-m² rate.
Glazing
Double or triple toughened safety glass, and any solar-control or acoustic specification.
Threshold
Standard, low or flush thresholds for step-free access.
Finish
Powder coating in any RAL colour, including dual-colour frames.
