A pivot door rotates around a vertical axis set into the floor and head of the frame instead of hanging from side hinges. Because the pivot carries the weight through the structure rather than the frame edge, the door can be far larger and heavier than any hinged door — up to 3 metres tall in our system — while still opening with fingertip effort. That makes pivot doors the signature choice for villa entrances and statement interiors in Dubai: one oversized panel, clean lines, and a sense of arrival no standard door can match. Every Makfold pivot door is custom-built in our own UAE facility, with reinforced aluminium profiles rated for desert heat, wind loads up to 2,000 Pa and RC2-standard security.
